JOB TITLE: Risk Analyst
DEPARTMENT: Professional Services
REPORTS TO: Risk Analyst Lead
SUMMARY:

The Construction Risk Analyst is instrumental in helping clients minimize or eliminate financial risks that could be detrimental towards construction project feasibility. Your main job duties would be to assist the administration department in performing the following duties.

PRIMARY DUTIES:
  • Responsible for vetting out the contractor’s qualifications
  • Collect and validate related documents
  • Conduct contractor interviews
  • Validate contractor references
  • Review contractor background checks for risk factors
  • Validate license, insurance, State status, and other qualifying information
  • Evaluate construction contracts for industry best practices
  • Review plans and specifications for accuracy
  • Analyze construction budgets for risk
  • Research and review permit information
  • Calculate and review construction mortgage calculations
  • Review appraisal reports for accuracy and necessary components
  • Administer and monitor underwriting rules and and loan program guidelines
  • Review construction related documents for program acceptance
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
  • Strong organizational, quantitative and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to conduct phone interviews
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to perform multiple assignments without immediate supervision
  • Familiarity with Construction terminology
  • Ability to problem solve and investigate within company guidelines.
  • Excellent verbal and written etiquette
