JOB TITLE: Sales Manager
DEPARTMENT: Sales / Customer Success
REPORTS TO: CEO
SUMMARY:

The Sales Operations Manager will directly manage the sales team and is responsible for the overall product sales and new customer acquisition.

PRIMARY DUTIES:
  • Responsible for managing a high-performing sales team serving mid-market and enterprise clients. Drive sales strategy in partnership with stakeholders to attain sales and profit quotas
  • Motivate the team to reach daily goals
  • Proactively inspect sales activity and effort of sales team, ensuring that the quality and quantity of work meets company expectations
  • Work with Leadership Team and other departments to ensure objectives are met by the sales team
  • Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts
  • Prioritize coaching and performance management efforts to have the greatest overall impact on business results
  • Identify deficiencies in skills of sales team members, and work to improve individual capabilities through coaching, development, and training
  • Hire and develop sales team, utilizing company human resource guidelines and support resources
  • Assist Account Executives with sales closings
  • Responsible for sales enablement including developing, implementing and refining tools, content, and processes to drive individual productivity and performance
  • Conduct weekly sales meetings, daily scrums and weekly one-on-ones with each Account Executive
  • Responsible for team’s adherence to sales best practices
  • Meet or exceed assigned team quotas for sales, profits, and strategic objectives
  • Accountable for the thorough implementation of all client-related initiatives among sales personnel managed
  • Coordinate company executive involvement with client management
  • Work closely with Client Success and Marketing teams to ensure client satisfaction and high levels of sales support
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
  • Experience implementing sales best practices and methodology
  • 4-5 years managing a B2B sales team
  • Experience working in SaaS environment
  • Fintech background preferred
  • Effective management of CRM tools, with Hubspot experience preferred
  • Experience leading a sales team, including managing a disciplined sales process, mentoring internal team members, offering hands-on assistance with closing deals and recruiting new sales talent
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills
  • Strategic thinker with ability to set, maintain, and analyze clear sales goals and metrics
  • Must be able to address objections and clearly convey our value proposition within our product offering
  • Successful track record of meeting sales goals
