Questions lenders ask
What is a lender-managed inspection?
A construction draw inspection completed by your own inspector, in-house staff or a third party you already work with, in the Land Gorilla app or on the web. The order, the photos, and the report all live in the loan file, in the same format as any other inspection on the platform.
How does an inspector complete the inspection?
The inspector accepts the order, then photographs the property by budget line item in the app, or uploads photos later from the office. They enter completion percentages and comments, tag photos to line items, and submit. The report reaches your team with eligible-to-fund calculated for review.
How is a lender-managed inspection ordered?
The same way as any Land Gorilla inspection: your team orders it on the loan, or your rules order it automatically when a draw is requested. Each inspector has their own product, or one product routes to whichever inspector you choose.
Can our inspectors and the on-site network work together?
Yes. Lender-managed inspections run in the same system as on-site, remote, and self inspections, so your team can use your own inspectors where you have coverage and the national network everywhere else.
